Analytics for your stack
One privacy-first, cookieless analytics tag, and the exact place to put it in each framework and site builder.
In short
- One tag, or one npm package, whichever your stack makes easier. Both record the same things.
- Cookieless mode stores nothing on the visitor's device, and no IP address is kept.
- Free to self-host. Prefer not to run a server? See the plans.
Frameworks and static site generators#
- Next.js: One component and one route in the App Router, events through your own domain.
- Nuxt: One entry in nuxt.config, in the server-rendered HTML, with every route change counted.
- SvelteKit: One tag in app.html, or events sent through a route on your own domain.
- Astro: One tag in the shared layout, a fit for static sites and for view transitions.
- Remix: One component in the root route, safe with server rendering, with route changes counted.
- Gatsby: One entry in gatsby-ssr.js puts the tag in every built page.
- Vue: One tag in index.html, with Vue Router navigation counted for you.
- React (Vite): One component that draws nothing, bundled into your own code.
- Angular: One tag in index.html, with Angular Router navigation counted for you.
- Hugo: One tag in the head partial, nothing to build and nothing to configure.
- Jekyll: One tag in the head include, no plugin to approve.
- Eleventy: One tag in the base layout, in every page 11ty builds.
- Docusaurus: One entry in docusaurus.config.js, and every doc page you navigate to is counted.
Site builders and platforms#
- WordPress: One snippet in a child theme, so a theme update never removes it.
- Shopify: One tag in theme.liquid, and no dependence on the checkout page you cannot edit.
- Webflow: Paste one snippet into the project's custom code, and publish.
- Framer: One snippet at the start of the head, and page transitions counted.
- Ghost: One snippet in Code injection, outside your theme, so it survives theme changes.
By who you are#
- Developers: One tag, goals without setup, and a server you can read and run yourself.
- SaaS: Follow visitors from first visit to trial to payment.
- Indie hackers: Which of your launches and posts brought visitors, and which brought paying customers.
- Solopreneurs: One calm screen that tells you what is working, in plain words.
The tag everywhere#
Whatever is not listed, if it lets you paste HTML into the head, this works:
<script
defer
data-site="tkb_a1b2c3d4"
data-domain="example.com"
src="https://stats.example.com/js/tkb_a1b2c3d4.js">
</script>
