Version 0.7.25 changes how the dashboard is laid out. The numbers are the same. You reach them in fewer steps.
A new header
The header reads account, then site, and the views sit next to it. The controls you used most are at hand. The rest moved into the menus where you would look for them.
Live
Live shows what is happening on the site right now: who is on it, where they came from and what they are looking at. It keeps its place as one of the views. See Live view and surge alerts.
The Briefing, a guided walkthrough
The second view is the Briefing. It walks you through your numbers one step at a time: how the period went, what sent the visitors, what they did and what changed. Each step says one thing and shows the evidence for it. Move on with the arrow keys, or go back. A note you write is kept with the step, and you can edit or delete it in the notes sheet.
Explore, in full screen
Explore opens the full data in the whole screen: the chart, the cards and the tables, with the filters on top. Use it when you want to look for something yourself rather than be walked through it.
⌘K opens the palette
Press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows and Linux) to open the palette. Peek is the first row. Below it are the places you can go to and the things you can create: a goal, a funnel or a note. Type to narrow the list.
Why? stays
The Why? on the headline claims is still there. It shows the numbers behind the sentence. See A quieter dashboard.
Locked previews
If you have not connected something yet, such as revenue or goals, its card shows a locked preview with what it would look like. It says what to connect and where. Once you connect it, the real numbers take its place.
Nothing was removed
Every feature of the old dashboard has a home in the new one. If you cannot find something, press ⌘K and type its name.
Try it in trckable
Open your dashboard and press ⌘K. New here? Install trckable first.
